How can I get hold of this doctor

I'm not sure but they say I have epilepsy but I haven't got checked for that , I sometimes get seizure and last time it happened I kinda lost my memory because it difficult for me to remember some other things from the past and sometimes in the presence. I need help please, my problem is I have financial problems (I'm working for R2500/ R2700 monthly at Barcelos in witbank)

Any time I have seisure, I have pins and needles or a numbness on the bridge of my nose, seconds before I have seisure..

Is this with PNES also or just epilepsy?

Topomax is literally ruining my life, why would my dr keep me on it if it isn’t even working? They just prescribed xcopri, but it hasn’t come in yet, but I’m supposed to take both. I think I’m going to call and ask to be taken off of topomax today. I feel like the dumbest person in a group of people. I don’t like to tell stories anymore because I lose my train of thought and can’t speak without stuttering. Everyone gets frustrated with me and I feel useless. I use to be smart. I have a bachelors degree in graphic design that I can’t even use because I don’t remember half of what I learned. I call out of work all the time and everything falls on my husband. Im sick of crying every day.

I was misdiagnosed with focal epilepsy and then pnes i was on trileptal and it made it worse got a 2nd opinion and was diagnosed with generalized epilepsy i am now on zonegran and doing so much better

This medicine has helped my seizures so much i have generalized epilepsy i take 100mg in the morning and 300 mg at night

For as long as I can remember, I've had what I would call deja vu attacks (intense feelings of deja vu with nausea), and I had to stop thinking and doing until it stopped. It wasn't until 2018 that it led to losing my awareness (which I wasn't aware of), and I was told I was drooling and appearing vacant. This led to my diagnosis. It's strange to look back on it now and realise they were seizures, and I always had epilepsy.

I would like to know if types of fungus could help with brain health.

I doctor. Recently i faced seizure. I am 31. My eeg and mri is normal. My doctor put me on medicine and told me to stop my protein supplement (whey protein) and other supplements. But other doctor didn't stop me from taking supplements. Is it necessary to stop my supplements?

Hello Dr. This is Diana from Uganda My is 2year He gets the attack morethan 5 times a day. He stairs while smiling alone and he uses alot of energy in the chest where by he breathes poorly durung the attack He sleeps late and most of the time when the attack comes towards sleep the sleep disappears Am using Sidium valproate but am not seeing any change. The most likely time for me to have a seizure is during my HIIT workouts. Clearly, the stress on the heart must be the root cause. It annoys me because I want to continue to exercise to my best and keep a healthy lifestyle. I had to stop running outdoors because of my seizures, and I've got scars on my knees that will probably never heal because of a seizure on a treadmill. On top of all this, I'm drug-resistant, so I can't imagine my workouts will ever go smoothly. But I learned to take it one day at a time.

I’ve met a few epileptics who said they only have seizures when they stop smoking marijuana. Yes, it’s illegal in my state, but they said it’s worth the risk.

I have focal epilepsy, and I guess I have an attention problem. It interferes with my work (I am a medical doctor), but also at home. I often mishear things, or remember them wrong. My daughters sometimes percieve this as me not being interested. And that really hurts, for that is definetely not the case

I work with a little girl who has autism. She’s 7. I notice that sometimes she will stare off into space and sometimes after she seems to have trouble focusing. It’s been said she’s just “spacing out” but I am not convinced that’s all it is.

I have a left frontal lobe oligodendroglioma stage 2 and just recently started having seizures that wake me up with in ten to fifteen minutes of falling asleep. I awaken with burning metallic taste and smell, right twitching and right hand numbness. Only last about two minutes

I'm so sick of seizures. They are in the fence about if i have pnes or epilepsy. No positive eeg. But when i was prescribed Vyvanse from my psychiatrist for adhd i ended up in the hospital on a breathing tube. Neurologists said not to take stimulants because it increases excitability in the brain. I have thought about training a dog but honestly im embarrassed of my issues and dont like attention brought on myself. It's so embarrassing making weird noises,falling, peeing even pooping before. I am mortified that my body and brain fight me so badly. 😢And most of all i just feel crazy and useless.

had one the other day for the first time so i dont actually know if it fits in the same category as the seizures other people in the comment section have on a regular. Doctors in hosptial believed it was caused by lack of sleep and maybe second hand cannabis consumtion. I was 100% aware of everything that was happening but couldnt open my eyes and was more or less choking for 3 hours. when the ambulance arrived they kept telling me it was only in my head and kept on hurting me by scraping their knuckles against my chest over and over for 10 minutes or so. I felt more and more like it was my fault that it was happening , they didnt seem to believe that im not simulating and i`m actually helpless... this was traumatizing i dont even want to know how it is for the people who have it more often
